So, what is willynillyart then? Willy-nillies are chaotic, willy-nilly arranged collages... but maybe there is an order behind it, or a message? Do they make sense? YOU decide! And unlike other art, they invite you to look closer - and maybe, whenever you look, you see something new. Being who I am, you'll find vintage and pop art touches throughout them.
A great love of mine have always been vintage ads. Over the years, a heap of funny post cards, interesting pictures, vintage ads, fun wrappers etc. had accumulated. But what to do with it? This is how my first Willy-nillies came about. Since then, I have been keeping my eyes open for whatever might fit into one of my collages, and my family and friends have been helping too! I also make personalised ones, both as art works and also as greeting cards, for my family and friends.
This got my Facebook page Willy-nillies started - which then also became the page for my online shop - and thus it continues!
