1950s Afternoon Dress with Full Skirt and Bateau Neckline Sewing Pattern Ringier c11407 B36
A very chic late 1950s dress sewing pattern, fit for an afternoon party or cocktails.
Dress with dart-fitted bodice, short kimono sleeves, bateau neckline. Slightly lowered waist, full skirt with gathers around the sides and back, smooth front with small mock belt. Side zipper.
This pattern was shown in the Ringier Journal de Mode Spring/Summer 1958 - see last photo. The magazine is not for sale!
Unprinted pattern with colored hole and stamp markings for seams and other features (colors coordinate to show what matches up where). Stamp markings are in German, French, English. Instructions in German and French (text only).
Size: vintage European size 42
Measurements:
Bust: 36 1/4" / 92 cm
Waist: 28 3/8" / 72 cm
Hip: 39 3/8" / 100 cm
Condition: pattern has been used, is in good condition. The belt piece is missing (this can be replicated easily as it's just a straight bit of fabric), all other pattern pieces are complete.
