1950s Children's Dungarees Bib Overalls Sewing Pattern with Embroidery Transfer Ringier k68738 for 4 years
A cute early 50s pattern for children's dungarees / bib overalls. Shoulder straps cross in the back, patch pockets on the sides. There's also a sheet with delightfully cute iron on embroidery transfer motifs included for decoration - see last photo.
This pattern was shown in the Ringier Journal de Mode autumn/winter 1950/51 - see photo (magazine is not for sale).
All pattern pieces are pre-cut and marked with small holes for markings etc. Pattern pieces are stamped with remarks line "grain line", "side seam", "centre back" etc. in German and French. Instructions in German and French (text only, no illustrations).
Size: marked for 4 years old / 40 1/8" or 102 cm height
Measurements:
Waist: 24 3/4" / 63 cm
Hip: 28" / 71 cm
Side length of pants: 24" / 61 cm
Condition: pattern is complete and may have been used. The pattern pieces are in very good condition. The iron-on transfer is unused. The envelope has a few tears.
