1950s Childs Playsuit and Beach Jacket Pattern Ringier k69381 for 4 years old
Here's an absolutely delightful 1950s pattern for a child's playsuit and cover-up. The playsuit has a bib-like bodice and shoulder straps, whilst the beach jacket is cut wide and straight, with a small collar, buttons down the front, big square patch pockets and an inverted pleat in the back.
This pattern was shown in the Ringier Journal de Mode spring/summer 1952 - see last photo (magazine is not for sale).
All pattern pieces are pre-cut and marked with small holes for markings etc. Pattern pieces are stamped with remarks line "grain line", "side seam", "centre back" etc. in German and French. Instructions in German and French (no illustrations, text only).
Size: marked for age 4 / 40 1/8" or 102 cm height
Measurements:
Breast: 25 1/4" / 64 cm
Waist: 24 3/4" / 63 cm
Hip: 28" / 71 cm
Condition: unopened and unused.
