1960s Ladies Dress and Jacket Ensemble Pattern B38 Orella M571/48
A very chic, typical mid- to late 1960s pattern for a dress and jacket ensemble. Sleeveless below-the-knee dress with interesting detailing at the waist, olus a fitted, hip-lenth jacket with small collar that closes with one button at the waist. The original magazine page showing the finished dress is included.
By Swiss publisher Orella, no. M571/48. Orella was a sewing and handicraft magazine, from which patterns like this could be ordered.
All pattern pieces are pre-cut and marked with small holes for markings etc. Pattern pieces are stamped with remarks like "grain line", "side seam", "Centre back" etc. in German. Instructions are on the paper sleeve, and they are in German only.
Size: given as 44. There is no measuring table included, however pattern sizes at that time were quite standard in Switzerland across different publishers. According to the measuring table of a nother pattern from the same time, this should translate to these measurements:
Bust: 37 3/4" / 96 cm
Waist: 33" / 84 cm
Hip: 41 3/4" / 106 cm
Condition: Unused and complete.
