Vintage ca. 1965 sewing pattern McCall's 7839 for a simple shirtwaist dress.
Shirtwaist dress with dart fitted bodice and short or three-quarter length set-in sleeves. Dress may have four-piece skirt or flared six-piece skirt. Collar and bodice fronts are interfaced. Short sleeves are turned back to form cuffs. Slim skirt has pleats at side front, may be underlined.
Size: Vintage US size 18 1/2, half-size - these were intened for women 5'4" (1m 62) and under:
Bust: 39 inches / 99 cm
Waist: 33 inches / 84 cm
Hips: 43 inches / 109 cm
Back waist length: 16 inches / 40.5 cm
