1940s Mens Pajama Pattern Simplicity 1635 Large Sz. 42-44 Chest 42-44
What a find - a ca. 1945 sewing pattern for classic men's pajamas, Simplicity 1635.
Men's pajamas: The long trousers are cut in two pieces and finished with a draw string at the upper edge. The short trousers are cut in two pieces and held in place with elastic. The front-buttoning pajama coat has a notched collar and a patch pocket at the left side. Styles I and III have short sleeves. Style II has long sleeves finished with an applied cuff and two larg patch pockets at the lower edge of the pajama coat.

Back length of top: 28 7/8" / 73.5 cm
Finished length of long trousers at side seam: 43" / 109cm
Unprinted pattern, instruction sheet included.
Condition: Pattern is complete and unused. The piece for the long trousers has suffered some damage through storage though, but is still usable if you copy it on fresh paper. The damage has occurred along one of the fold lines, so if you unfold it this is inside the pattern. The sleeve is torn in several places.
